Aspects of the Vatican
The following are all the aspects of the Vatican which are open to the public.
The Vatican is a one way system but has three or four routes with choices along the way.
The only way to get to the
Sistine Chapel is through the
Vatican Museums,
so all tours including my own start there.
Once inside the Museums you can decide if you want to see half, most or all of the collections.
The
Raphael Rooms are entirely optional but would suit those who really like Renassiance art.
The Sistine Chapel is at the end of Vatican Museums.
When you are ready to leave the Chapel you can opt to go to
St. Peter's Basilica,
where you can also see
St. Peter's Square, the
Papal Tombs and go inside
the dome or you can go through the Vatican Library to the exit of the Museums.
