If you book a tour through me, I generally use public transport to go to and from the Vatican, buses, the metro or taxis.
Occasionally my clients like to use private cars to and from the Vatican and/or have these services collect them from the airport and drop them to their hotel.

I have been using a Rome car company for some years that only uses new air conditioned Mercedes cars. The guide can arrive at your hotel in the car and the driver can bring you to the Vatican and return you to your hotel when the tour is done.

In the case of airport collection, any baggage you have is free and is stored securely within the trunk or boot until you get to the hotel. The advantage of using a private car over a taxi is you can trust the driver, he speaks English and the price displayed below is the total price you pay.

If you are travelling from a cruise ship, it will more than likely dock at Civitavecchia Port. We can have a private car collect your family/group and drop you to the Vatican for a tour.
